Update May 2015

It’s been awhile since anything has been said here and I apologise. I keep meaning to sit down and write a news post and then end up writing nothing!

So a short update:

Due to personal considerations, two of our board members have had to resign. We are very sorry to see them go and hope that there will be other initiatives in the future that they can be part of. We will be looking to fill these positions as we go along and as people show interest.

The Lending Library is almost off the ground! The bookcase has been bought, we have a dozen books to start us off and there are only a few more small details to cover before we get it off the ground. We are very excited! So watch this space for the opening announcement.

The website is under construction! We know many people are looking for this so we will release a very basic version within the next couple of weeks and expand and refine it as we go. So watch this space!

We will be finalising our plans for the upcoming year soon which will involve continuing the very popular Victorian Novice and Newbies workshops, a workshop series in the Benalla area, a presence at the OzKink Festival and some fun events over the following months.

That’s all for now folks but keep watching this space. We haven’t disappeared. We’ve just been a bit busy behind the scenes, working hard to provide a solid foundation.
