Victorian Novice and Newbie Intensive this Saturday, 24 February

This event is for those that are brand new and don’t yet really understand how the BDSM subculture functions, for those who have put out the standard “please play with me” ad and had no responses or have failed to get out to an event due to uncertainty of what will be expected/required.

The day is for new folks to come to the house and begin their journey into real life kink. This is not a play or fetish party and you won’t be asked embarrassing questions. This is a day for explanations about the subculture of BDSM, some of our few but firm rules of engagement, what are some of the dos and don’t s of social interaction, a few how tos on getting started finding play partners and, if the group is right, the occasional first time play experience on a very light level. Don’t worry, we won’t be asking any embarrassing questions or put anyone in an awkward position! Nothing will be asked of anyone except to be open to meeting others and listening to the information on offer.

The day will be in the following format:

Our subculture is deep, old, and complex. What one reads about and watches in porn movies is not the way we really work. However, I can say after 20 years of active BDSM living, it is still as fascinating and fantastic as the day I entered into it. I don’t think I will ever learn it all, experience it all or understand it all.

We ask that if you are not sure if you can attend that you put yourself down as watching and only register when you are sure. This will allow us to prepare enough materials for those attending and also ensures enough spaces as this is a limited space event.

This is a no alcohol event.

Bring something to throw on the BBQ and a dish for the table to share with others. Chips, salads and sauces will be provided.
