Game Terminology
People who are new to kinky life may find elements of the game confusing. Here is a short description that can help the game play make sense.
“Toys” are objects, skills or abilities that you can use to do something fun with a partner.
“Dungeons” are sometimes called play spaces and it’s a term used for the space toys are kept in and where people “play” with each other. Examples of “play” might be:
- Using feathers on someone in a way that feels sensual. This is known as “sensation play”.
- Spanking someone’s bottom with a hand. This is known as “impact play”.
- Putting ropes on someone’s body. This is known as “bondage”.
A key part of playing between adults is “consent”. The game requires consent to be obtained before moving on to playing, just like real life!
Be as creative as you like in your play. Have fun exploring different ideas of what you and a partner can do together that’s playful. Just remember, the goal is to have fun without harming each other!
